Lutz (Soundflat - DE)

Born in 1964, I started being interested in Mod in 1982, but spent most of my money for scooters. It was a great time in germany, with lot's of runs & great bands, like Stunde X or Chocolate Factory. Most of happenings were in Duesseldorf. I started listening to the usual 79 bands, like The Jam, Secret Affair or The Circles these days, but after a while I discovered US 60's Punk, like Music Machine, Chocolate Watch Band, Standells, etc. And of course I was absolutely amazed by 80's garage, like Miracle Workers, Tell Tale Hearts & The Chesterfield Kings. After some other musical experiences, discovering The Stooges, etc, I played in several bands, incl. The Embryonics (who even played in Athens together w/The Tommyknockers, later The Cheeks & Curlee Wurlee). So, as you can see, I have a pretty large taste in music. As I run a mailorder, Soundflat, I can listen to a lot of music like 24 hours a day. I started spinning records a long time ago, but stopped a while. Since a year I started again, spinning mostly Soul / R&B, but also US 6ts punk & some 80's garage! All my choice is: The song must make the kids dance & have fun. No need to be rare as long as it makes the hips shake & your feet move!
