INTRODUCTION
Belle Vue's Weekender tends to be our annual marvelous routine. Somewhere in the year 2004, the first thoughts of organizing a three days festival came up. A continuous discussion, hard work, friendly relations with The Hipstairs and Rob Bailey of Nut's finally made this dream come true. The first Weekender took place at the ´ Jam ´ club of Platamonas, known North Greek resort, presenting five live gigs dressed in unstoppable dj-ing and art movements. But all these happened… last year.
For the current year, on 9 th , 10 th and 11 th of June, we'll have the opportunity to salute elite native bands, many djs plus international, and art events. To be more specific : The Frantic V, The Overtones, The Hipstairs, The Teddy Boys From The Crypt and Meanie Geanies will be on the stage of ´ Jam Club ´ . Three residents from all over the country, d.j. Henry of Milano Mods and definitely the team of Belle Vue will be responsible to cover the whole spectrum of our interest in sixties scene (garage, R&B, beat, psych-pop, soul, bossa nova, boogaloo and jazz grooves).
The established scooters cruise and the report of art work by Ms Geanie and Apostolos will be also this year in the agenda plus backgammon competition for the loungers.
Three days of welter confession about the sixties that doesn't seem to end!
